The impact of video as a valuable asset for businesses is undeniable. I've witnessed its potential firsthand, collaborating with remarkable brands to craft compelling and captivating visuals that leave audiences craving more! Here, you'll find a selection of videos I shot for companies like Pacific Media Group, City Mill, AlohaCare, Grand Naniloa Hotel, and others. My responsibilities encompassed scripting, as well as the production of on-location video content, ensuring every detail was meticulously captured using high-quality camera equipment.

Puget Sound Partnership

Role: Video Editor, Motion Graphics Artist, Videographer

Overview: Puget Sound Partnership aimed to create an introductory video summarizing the Action Agenda, a comprehensive document outlining diverse strategies for the restoration of Puget Sound. Due to budget and time constraints, we couldn't arrange unique footage for the video. My task was to source relevant material and compile it effectively. The resulting video incorporated stock footage and motion graphics to effectively convey the intended message and generate interest in the Action Agenda. Additionally, I worked on a second video for 'Puget Sound Day on the Hill, an event highlighting individuals who benefit from government funding and all contribute to the restoration of Puget Sound.

Grand Naniloa Hotel Hilo - a DoubleTree by Hilton

Role: Videography and Editor

Overview: The Grand Naniloa Hotel Hilo was in need of an updated commercial spot to showcase its unique offerings. They contracted me to assist in conceptualizing a vision that would effectively convey the hotel's distinctive qualities. Notably, the hotel plays a pivotal role in the prestigious Merrie Monarch Festival, an annual Hula competition spanning three days in Hilo, Hawaii. The hotel serves as a staging area for events occurring before and after the competition.

The primary objective of this shoot was to accentuate both Hula and the hotel's scenic surroundings. The Grand Naniloa Hotel Hilo takes pride in its historical connection to the development of Hula. Over a weekend, I captured a range of actors and dancers to craft a 30-second spot that will run throughout the year.

City Mill

Overview: City Mill, a local home hardware store in Hawaii, distinguishes itself in a market alongside giants like Home Depot and Lowes by actively engaging with its 'support local' customer base. They enlisted my expertise for graphic design in their advertising campaigns and commercial projects. In the realm of commercials, I took on the role of a producer, coordinating talent, conducting the shoots, and contributing to the creation of motion graphics for each spot. Here are a few examples of commercials designed to showcase their new Curb Pick Up Service.
