Puget Sound Partnership
Role: Visual Communications Lead
Overview: The Puget Sound Partnership serves as the leading state agency dedicated to spearheading a collaborative initiative aimed at restoring and safeguarding Puget Sound. It unites a vast network of partners to galvanize collective action in alignment with a shared agenda, promoting strategic investments and accelerating priority projects by providing support to its partners. In my capacity, I design marketing collateral intended to advocate for funding and legislative support, essential for the completion of critical projects vital to the recovery of Puget Sound.

Vital Signs Wheel
The Puget Sound Partnership recognized the need to revamp the Vital Signs wheel, a graphic that had been in use for over a decade. This was a substantial project, as the redesigned graphic would play a central visual role across the majority of our products within the partnership. Thanks to the collaboration of an exceptional work group, we refined my design into its ultimate and definitive form.
Slow4Orcas
Our assignment was to coordinate a campaign dedicated to the protection of the Southern Resident Orca population. This campaign had a particular emphasis on educating boaters about the new speed and distance regulations in Puget Sound. We tackled the campaign by starting from scratch, developing everything from infographics to posters, mailers, flyers, and more.
Rapid Ohia Death
Role: Graphic Designer
Overview: Rapid Ohia Death is a state program aimed at informing travelers about the prevention and the threats associated with a disease impacting Ohia trees. My role encompasses designing educational materials and advertisements prominently featured at airports and local events. These advertisements serve a crucial purpose: raising awareness about this ecological concern and encouraging both residents and visitors to take proactive steps to prevent its spread and protect our native plant life.
Airport Advertisements
This serves as our initial line of defense in creating awareness among inter-island travelers. Its primary objective is to offer travelers some informative content, with the expectation that they will click on provided resources to delve deeper into the subject.
Informational Materials
In close collaboration with Rapid Ohia Death, I am responsible for crafting a wide array of informational materials. These include flyers, posters, brochures, and large-format pieces, among others."
City and County of Honolulu
Role: Graphic Designer
Overview: My client sought a redesign for their annual sustainability report while maintaining the established brand guidelines unique to these reports. The primary purpose of this report is to foster transparency by offering a progress update on climate action in response to community requirements.
Hawaii Invasive Species Council
Role: Graphic Designer
Overview: The client aimed to develop an annual strategy report with a distinct purpose: to compile strategic plans dedicated to the safeguarding of Hawaii's natural environment, agriculture, economy, and the well-being, lifestyle, and culture of its inhabitants from the threats posed by invasive species.
Landscape Industrial Council of Hawaii
Role: Graphic Designer
Overview: The Landscape Industrial Council of Hawaii (LICH) is dedicated to advancing sustainable landscape initiatives, encompassing native plants, invasive species management, water conservation for irrigation, and the integration of edible landscaping. I've played a role in designing their magazine, 'Landscape,' along with creating various promotional materials required throughout the year.
Endemic Plant Posters
I collaborated closely with this client to actualize their vision in design. The underlying concept of these posters was to enlighten their audience about the unique endemic plants in Hawaii and encourage a collective effort toward their preservation.
