Ohana Health Plan embraces cultural diversity, allowing us the flexibility to diverge from Wellcare's brand guidelines. I approach each piece of artwork with the deliberate intention that it will resonate with our diverse audience, whether in print, digital format, or when showcased at various events of a similar nature.
Stock Library
Locating suitable stock images specific to Hawaii can be quite challenging due to the rich diversity of our culture. Internet resources often fall short in capturing the essence we seek to convey to our unique demographic. In preparation for the Medicare season, I collaborated with Ohana Health Plan to curate a distinct image library, ensuring we had a ready supply of authentic visuals for use throughout the year.

I played a significant role in shaping the appearance and messaging of our marketing department, building everything from the ground up. Our primary focus revolved around Medicaid (QUEST) and Medicare, and we diligently adhered to stringent State and Federal Guidelines. While these guidelines posed creative challenges, they also fostered resourcefulness and innovation in our approach.
Company Apparel
As part of our effort to boost workplace morale, I took on the responsibility of designing shirts that served a dual purpose – promoting our brand and fostering a sense of unity among our employees. Additionally, we introduced these shirts to our logo store, where interested family members could also purchase them.
Commercials
Our Chief Marketing Officer challenged us with the task of shooting and producing our own commercials, which was a significant endeavor considering the tight deadline. This ambitious project was handled entirely by my team, encompassing tasks such as scriptwriting, storyboarding, conducting focus groups, managing voiceovers, scheduling talent, shooting, and handling post-production editing.
